few question regarding internal of vicidial

i was trying to understand the call flow of vicidial auto calls so that i am able to troubleshoot my issues better
there are few things that i fail to understand it will be of great help if someone can help me on this

1)what is the diffence between tables live_channels and live_sip_channels and update script work on both of them
or only on live_channels

2) what is this zap/pseudo entry when i am not using any zap i am using only sip

3)if i use some other digium card apart from x100p as "i am unable to find any SERVER motherboard of INTEL with which x100p
is compatible " will it serve the sam purpose

4)thers are astGUIclient conferences 8600011 to 8600029 where these conferences are used i am not able to find ther use uptil know everywhere in Log i see only vicidial conferences

live_channels is for trunks and live_sip_channels is for phones and Local channel calls.

2) what is this zap/pseudo entry when i am not using any zap i am using only sip

That's required for meetme, it has to create a fake zap channel to run the audio through.

Any Digium(except for the new transcoding card) or Sangoma card will work as a zaptel timer. I have used several Asus motherboards with X100P cards with no issues.

Those are for astguiclient.php and for VICIDIAL when a agent leaves a 3-way call they have set up.

Hi i've got a pair of questions about the zap/pseudo interface.

1. Sometimes i see some "ghost" zap/pseudo channels at the asterisk console.

2. I've got a [fax] context where i manage the fax routing for the system, but i've noticed that thiz zap/pseudo channels are shown as if they were at fax context... any ideas?
