Postby sridhar » Fri Apr 04, 2008 7:51 am

HI,

I did new server installation , my server is dell PE2900 with 4gb RAM
Vicidial releases 2.0.4 and asterisk svn checkout 1.2

I used scratch installation notes.I am using digium card TDM shows 2 channels configured correctly , using codec g729 and Bria soft phone with g729 codec.

Normal through phone I am able to dial the numbers.when dial through agent web client no communication takes place, phone do not ring on logging. there is no error messages in pbx logs and vicidial logs.I check the dial plan and data base conferences everything looks okay. I am clueless any clue :?:

Thanks in advance for your advise.

Here I post the output of the screen

There are screens on:
3121.ASTfastlog (Detached)
3149.asterisk (Detached)
3119.ASTVDadapt (Detached)
3 Sockets in /var/run/screen/S-r

And output from command screen -r

There are several suitable screens on:
3121.ASTfastlog (Detached)
3149.asterisk (Detached)
3119.ASTVDadapt (Detached)
Type "screen [-d] -r [pid.]tty.host" to resume one of them.

Thanks again.

Kind regards

The output of screen -ls on a 2.0.4 system should look something like this on a single server setup:
Code: Select all
#> screen -ls
There are screens on:
        9291.ASTupdate  (Detached)
        9300.ASTVDauto  (Detached)
        3470.ASTfastlog (Detached)
        26545.ASTVDadapt        (Detached)
        9297.ASTlisten  (Detached)
        9271.asterisk   (Detached)
        9294.ASTsend    (Detached)
7 Sockets in /var/run/screens/S-root.

There is something preventing some of these scripts to run. Please post the contents of your /etc/astguiclient.conf file.

Also please try running the following command in the Linux command line and post the results:
Code: Select all
/usr/share/astguiclient/AST_update.pl

Dear Sir,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Currently I am away from my system. I will do as you suggested and post you the output after 3 hours.

It looks like the Vicidial scripts are unable to communicate with asterisk.

Please check that your /etc/asterisk/manager.conf file looks like this:
Code: Select all
[general]
enabled = yes
port = 5038
bindaddr = 0.0.0.0

[cron]
secret = 1234
read = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user
write = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user

[updatecron]
secret = 1234
read = command
write = command

[listencron]
secret = 1234
read = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user
write = command

[sendcron]
secret = 1234
read = command
write = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user

Hello ,

I am very thankful for vicidial community for active support. I solved the problem. when I type screen -r it was not displaying all screen. issue was with configuration files manager.conf and astguiclient.conf . some missconfigurations result in screens did not started.I took configurations from my working production server now my outbound calls are working properly.

I thanks again .

Greetings
