fatal error

hi
i am installing slackware 10.2.after boot cd when i insert 1st cd for installing according scratch install in phase 1 after step 14

when i click ok
then after some moment i got following error

installpkg error
i was a fatal error attempting to install /var/log/mount/slackware/a/cups-1.1.23-i486-1.tgz.........................................................................

plz help me how can i overcome from this problem

cups is for printing. There should be no need to have a printer installed. Does the installation not proceed after this?

How many times has this happened?

What kind of processor are you using?
