app_confcall a conferencing application

Has anyone tried app_confcall instead of app_meetme?

this one still needs hardware timer . Meetme is already quite stable but this one does has some more features .

and vicidial was coded for meetme. If this has a whisper feature and more stable than meetme maybe some of us can try it though.

I am actually very much looking forward to the new app_confbridge feature in Asterisk 1.6. It offers all sorts of advantages over the existing conferencing features. Hopefully in another year when it becomes stable we will be able to start testing it.

One other note on other conferencing engines, it seems that someone has fixed some of the issues with app_conference, although I don't know who this person is I will try to contact them about this:

I have actually discussed with the guy about app_conference, The only thing he fixed was to get it working with 1.4. I do not think he fixed the dead lock, nor did he fix the playing of two audio streams to the same channel bug.

i have money to pay to fix it.. can anyone please let me know if they have enough knowledge to fix this issue? I cant use meetme because of virtualization.. if meetem is fixed i have a fully working vicidial setup with good sound quality. All calls currently done outside meetme are perfect.. the only issue is meetme.. so if anyone wants to make some money please post back
