Donation Drive

Postby Trying » Fri May 02, 2008 7:03 am

Hi All

I would like to start a donation drive...... if that is not against the rules :D

Lets just thank Matt and team for an absolutely brilliant product and also thank them for the support they give to the community!

Not all of us are capable to donate code but we can surely donate dollars. No matter how much guys, lets just show our appreciation!

Matt, I would like to donate $100. How do I donate on this site?

Once again thank you for a brilliant open source product and the time you take to support the users!!

Thank you very much for your compliments!

As for donations, the easiest things to do are to either buy a manual or use the donate button on the astguiclient project page.

Thanks again!

Hi Matt

I have purchased both manuals and will donate through the donation link.

Come on guys....... who else is going to support this great project??? I hope this is not going to turn into another Trixbox scenario where all the users want everything but are not willing to support the developers.

Another way to support is by using the VICIDIAL Group as your provider of choice with any special requirements or if you need a hosted solution.

My commitment is to donate another $10 for each $100 donation within this drive.

Do you LOVE this project? Do you want to see it grow and grow with more and more features?

DONATE!!

This is typical of most open source projects, most of the users do not give freely for the development of the project. This is one of the reasons that the Manager and Agent manuals cost money. that money pays for a piece of my time to spend every day on the forums as well as the costs of hosting the project forum/Wiki/Tracker as well as the cost of sending me to Astricon every year. If I had to go on donations I couldn't do any one of those things and the project would suffer.

I do thank you very much for your efforts though :)

Yes, it is actually sad. It is however a great idea to charge for the manuals.

You can buy the manuals right from this website: http://www.eflo.net

As for Tshirts, we should be working on that soon actually.

Thanks!
