Calls stop coming

I am using vici 2.4.0.1rc1, asterisk 1.2.28 -- scratch install

For the past 2 days around the same time of day (11pm) agents stop getting calls. Looking at output of asterisk CLI, I am getting a lot of Got SIP response 408 "Request Timeout" messages. If I restart asterisk, everything starts running fine...

I thought it could have been bottlenecking at provider or maybe network congestion, but all I did is restart asterisk and it cleared up.

Any suggestions where I should look and what to fix?

That's pretty strange, have you contacted your carrier about this?

what does the 'sip show peers' and 'sip show registry' show?

but i was having something similiar

i use this
2 1 * * * /usr/share/astguiclient/AST_reset_mysql_vars.pl

and my asterisk goes fine
