Audio problem

Hello All,

I have a production vicidial system in ratio mode with 15 agents logged in.
However sometimes there is a strange problem, the agents can not hear anything.
The problem gets resolved when the agent logs out and logs in again. However at times a system reboot is needed.

Could anyone please explain the cause and solution for these audio drops.

The server performance page is not showing me anything.
However with top command the cpu usage goes upto approximate 35%
Dual core xeon processor with 1GB ram.
Ratio mode.
Please explain what is transcoding.

When you say "35%" do you mean 35.00 or 0.35?

That's not 35%, that's more like 3500% if you have a singel core CPU. Your load is WAY too high on that server which is causing your audio problems.
