FYI - PAE error on VicidialNow Install

We attempted to install ViciDialNow on a Dll 2950 quad-core server. We received an error:

"Kernel-PAE-2.6.18-53.el5.i686.rpm cannot be opened"

This error stopped the install. In order to correct this problem, we copied the following files from the CentOS 5.1 install ISO:

/CentOS/kernel-PAE-2.6.18-53.el5.i686.rpm
/CentOS/kernel-PAE-devel-2.6.18-53.el5.i686.rpm

We used UltraISO to copy the files and burn a new copy of the install CD. It installed perfectly after this.

We just wanted to get this someplace searchable incase anyone else runs into this.

Thanks for pointing this out. We never had any machine with more than 4 gig of RAM for testing so the kernel-PAE wasn’t included. We’ll have this included with the final release of 1.1.

I was having this same issue and adding those files to the CentOS ISO file worked great!

Maybe you could add those files to the ISO for ViciDialnow so that all of us who have new machines with 8 or more gigs of ram won't have to customize it.

the install of the vicidialnow, can be continued in some machines without these rpm, so can be possible to install after ....
