Limit users/agents to restricted list of campaigns?

Postby jdutt » Wed Sep 06, 2006 11:39 am

Is there a way to limit users/agents to login with a restricted set of Campaigns, associated with that user/agent bu administrator, rather than all Campaigns? Is this an enhancement that could be planned for the future?

There is a tracker issue feature request associated with this:

I will get to this after the 2.0.1 release comes out.

We need to figure out the best way to handle user groups and user permissions when it comes to campaigns.

Currently at the user level an admin can define the CLOSER in-groups that a user can login to, so it makes sense to do the same thing for campaigns, at the user level.

But there is the issue of user_groups and how they fit in to things. Currently user_groups don't really do much. We need to figure out a way to handle user groups features without confusing things too much.

You can restrict users by campaign per user group. This has been in SVN/trunk for several months now. It is easiest to install with vicibox.
