apache migration

Postby chasejordan1 » Thu Oct 02, 2008 10:27 am

I would like to put apache (the web server application on the vicidialnow server) on a different server to help with load. I know how to build a new apache server (the easy part) but then how do i tell mysql (which is already on a different server) and the vicidial/asterisk server (which is currently utilizing apache) to use the new apache server. Is it as simple as going into "said" config file and point it to (new apache server ip) Like the mysql? Please advise. I have latest version of vicidialnow I also have read the managers manual and the load_balancing.txt and I can't find anywhere that tackles seperating apache. I think it would be something alot of us would like to know. Thanks in advance.
