I operate a 150 seat outbound call center that calls all over the US. We are evaluating ViciDial to replace our existing in-house created dialer. Over the years we have determined the best times for our business to contact customers. Our existing solution was programmed in-house by a developer that is no longer with the company and is able to switch leads based on the time zones automatically. I have not been able to achieve this with Vicidial yet. All I have been able to do is restrict the local calling times so I end up calling EST until 12:00 EST and then it switches to CST but only gives me an hour in that timezone etc. We are in Arizona so we start early.
Can vicidial switch timezones based on the local time of the agent?

I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. Are you dialing mostly manual dial campaigns or auto dial?
You are going to have to walk me through an explanation of exactly what you are trying to do so I understand for sure.

Basically, we start calling from our offices at 5AM AZ time. All times will be local to the dialer.
5:00 EST
6:00 CST
7:00 EST
8:00 PST
9:00 CST
10:00 EST
11:00 EST
12:00 EST
1:00 EST
2:00 CST
3:00 MST
4:00 PST
This is how we change timezones through out the day, it varies based on analysis of the last weeks calls, etc.
So what I want is vicidial to be able to switch to different leads in a list based on a set call schedule. Make sense? Thanks for your time and effort.

We have set this up similar lead management on a custom basis before, but there is no easy interface to manage this. The customer requirements very greatly from customer to customer so we have not found a good way to build in a universal way of doing what you describe.
