RAID comatability

Just wondering if the kernel that comes pre compiled with VicidialNOW works out of the box with RAID (SATA) and if so, what level of RAID? Thanks.

Yes it does. If your server has hardware SATA RAID, VicidialNOW will install on your server. However, if you're going to use software RAID, it won't work since you can't manually partition your harddrives.
