In script, why I see "+" sign where there is a space ?

I would suggest upgrading to 2.0.4.1rc5. I believe that bug has been fixed.

upgrading does not really mean installing everything again from scratch, just run the install.pl script and unless you modified VICIDIAL code that's all you need to do.
