astGUIclient/VICIDIAL is not compatible with H323.

That clears all my problems, can i ask why or if you will develop for h.323?

H323 is an older protocol with limited capacity on Asterisk.

There are not as many H323 devices on the market as there are SIP

H323 is supported in Asterisk through a few different libraries, adding to configuration confusion.

I believe that you are only the fourth person to ask me about H323 compatibility in 3 years.
