Channels are throttled ... not dialing close to capacity

Postby dial_fr3ak » Wed Jan 21, 2009 12:06 pm

Issue:

I have 3 PRIs and the vicidial real-time gui is showing that I'm only ringing 40 calls.

It is as if 1 PRI isn't being used.

I checked call logs for calls hanging in the channels, and that fixed it the first time I had this issue; I don't know what's causing this.

I'm 90% confident it's not an Asterisk problem, but rather either a vicidial problem or the communication between the two.

Are there any common causes for this type of choke? I have 20 agents in the office and even with a dial level of 15+, I have 6-10 agents waiting over 2 minutes...

Equipment:

Quad Core Xeon E5405 Processor2x6MB Cache, 2.0GHz, 1333MHz FSB, PE1950. 4 gigs of ram

Operating system:

Centos 5

Asterisk Version:

1.2.27

VicidialNow: 2.0.4.1rc3

When you are not dialing do you see any records in the vicidial_auto_calls table?
