I have 15 agents logged in.
Asterisk is running.
Now, suddenly all calls get stop.
Now when I log in to the server and write "dial 91XXXXXXXXXX" , SUDDENLY then I see calls start getting dial out and then it becomes normal.
Anything strange in this ? I guess..
Kindly advice.

coincidence. your "hopper" ran out and when you logged in and "had a look" it was coincidentally the moment the hopper got leads again and *poof* you were off and running. so you could also have typed "abracadabra" and it would have begun working.
on the other hand, it could also be a few other things. does it happen often? or just the once? can you predict it?

Nothing predictive.
Admin user calls me and tell me that calls not going and then I try the way I mentioned above and it starts up again.

have you tried doing ... something else? (to see if you get the same results)
dial directly from a phone ... how long does it stop dialing before it starts up again?
have you checked your hopper and other stats on your campaign to see if there's a reason that the dialer stopped?

what about the other stats? and did you try a manual call and watching the cli to see WHY there were no calls? i've had some ... VERY strange issues with situations like that recently.
No kidding: I had a client who complained that "today!" their server didn't work. The only thing that resolved it was changing the callerid outbound. Any number OTHER than his 800# would work. Fake numbers worked. Regular or 800#s worked. 0 worked. (10 0's worked!) But HIS number would not work. I sent him to his provider to resolve the issue. In the end he just changed providers. Problem never came back.
Another one: I had a client who would "drain" all the leads a couple times every hour. Turns out ... IF over 16 trunks were in use (never happened with less than that) AND whenever the "ASR" would drop ... they would be cut off for two minutes. As soon as this would happen, vicidial would start dialing leads like crazy because they would all appear as "invalid numbers". So the manager cranked up the "hopper level" and ate more leads. He changed providers after having an argument on the subject. Problem never came back.
