Upgrading and AGC not connecting

Postby chrism » Sat Feb 28, 2009 1:38 pm

I just performed some 'yum' upgrades and may have broken my connection to AGC and asterisk. Any recommendations for debugging?

Basically, if I login to AGC and dial a lead, it shows that the extension is connected in the conference session but it never dials the extension and never actually dials the number. AGC just sits at the top saying:

Waiting for Ring... 21 seconds

... and the seconds just keep increasing.

at the bottom of the AGC client

Code: Select all
LIVE CALLS IN YOUR SESSION:
#   REMOTE CHANNEL   HANGUP   VOLUME
1   SIP/625-0968e598

My other work around is just to restore from backup and try again, which is what I'm trying to avoid.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Systems Specs:

1) Version of VICIDIAL - latest
2) loadavg - minimal to none
3) Server Specs - VMware virtual machine
4) Codecs used - G.711 ulaw
5) VOIP or PSTN - VOIP
6) OS - CentOS 5.2

You're not going to want to hear it, but we don't recommend using CentOS(or any redhat-family distro), if you do get VICIDIAL working on it you should NOT do a blanket "yum update" because it will probably break something.

Also, a virtual machine is not a good idea if you want to run that many agents, there are usually audio issues unless you are running few agents.
