I spent a day or two modifying our Vicidial astguiclient_2.0.4.1rc4 to add in a 'company' and 'website' field into AGC and even updated the import perl scripts to pull those fields in too. Now astguiclient_2.0.4.1rc5 is out and I'd like to use your latest version, but I'm sure you can appreciate the heavy lifting that is involved in doing so.
Would it be possible for me to submit changes back with the 'company' and 'website' fields added? If so, how because it touches almost every file in /agc/ and /vicidial/. I'd like to upgrade to RC5 and I'm sure there are others out there that could use a 'Company' and 'Website' field as well in Vicidial.
Thanks,
Chris

The best way to submit changes for inclusion is to create a DIFF file of the changes and post them to the issue tracker.
BTW, 2.0.5rc1 was just posted today with 2.0.5 official release to follow soon. There are several hundred changes in it since 2.0.4.

Hi Matt,
When are you thinking 2.0.5 will be released?

We are hoping for next week. We have done some testing on our side, and we hope to have more feedback from users in the next few days, but what is in there is already running in a few production environments so there shouldn't be any major bugs preventing a release soon.

Do you recommend submitting changes before or after the 2.0.5 release. I'm assuming my changes probably wouldn't make it into 2.0.5.

Actually, any changes that involve database modifications will not be accepted into the current stable release branch. Once we fork a stable branch we do not change the database schema at all.
You should do the patch based upon SVN trunk(which as of right now is exactly the same as the 2.0.5 branch) so that it can be incorporated into trunk and maintained.
