Dont know what to do next

Postby robert123 » Thu Mar 26, 2009 6:51 am

Hello Friends,

I have installed the vicidialnow ce 1.1 in my hardware.

I assigned the vicidial server an IP, which is 192.168.1.10

Now i am able to see the main page of vicidialnow through inserting the ip add 192.168.1.10

But now i am just fad up... Because i do not understand what to do next from here... I gone through the scratch installation but i am not able to understand it properly, because some people told me that vicidialnow ce 1.1 edition is loaded with everything, i just have to change the sip.conf file and just have to login in web-client and you are done... But nothing has been done so far...

Kindly help me, vicidialnow is my favourite stuff but such things are making me lose my trust on it...

Thank You,

Robert

VicidialNOW is preloaded with phones, a sample campaign and conferences. You realy just need to add your SIP provider's details in the sip.conf and update extensions.conf to send calls to that provider. If you do not have any experience in Linux or Asterisk, you would be best off outsourcing your setup. The scratch install will be confusing for you since it contains all the steps for installation from "Scratch", but since VicidialNOW has everything already you won't understand how to do any troubleshooting.

The next best thing to do is get the Manager's and Agent's Manuals. It will help you a lot on how to use your system properly.

The manual is good.

What else do you have set up?
outgoing service, phones, etc
