I have seen one of the server running with s3000ah mother board with Core Quad.

Let me get you the complete configuration on 1st April 2009 from phpsysinfo.

Here is the ANOTHER one .It takes load of 10 agents .

This is the problem. Intel s3000ah is discontinued but works with core2duo 2.53 GHz but the one I have is 2.8 GHz which it doesn't support. I figured the best one for me will be S3210SHLX. It is scalable if I want to replace my processor to Xeon in the future and supports RAID 0,1,5,10.

Here is the quick update:

I have replace the server. Now, I have Xeon 2.4 GHz quad-core processor with S3000AH. Also, changed the memory to make sure they are compatible. It worked!.

I now have my server hoooked to my LAN.The details of my LAN are below:

Default gateway - 192.168.0.1
Server's IP - 192.168.0.5
Other PCs - 192.168.0.X
Now, I also have the static IP for my line.

I get PING responses from PCs to server.

The problem this time is when I open up the server page to login to admin or agent, it opens up just fine. But, the "eyebeam" doesn't seem to work. The setting of the eyebeam are as follows.


Display name:(blank)
Username:cc101
Password: test
Authorization username: cc101
Domain: (static ip assigned by my ISP)

Domain proxy :
register with proxy : checked
Use outbound proxy: unchecked

manual override: unchecked

error: Login failed : Request timeout

eyebeam(Xten) version: eyeBeam 1.1 3004t stamp 16741

This should be the IP address or Domain name of your vicidial server.

The problem this time is when I open up the server page to login to admin or agent, it opens up just fine.

If your computer can see the admin page in a web browser, then eyebeam can see the server at the same address (base address, of course, not the web page beyond it).

If, however, you use the external ip address of your system (assigned by your ISP), the signal will attempt to travel out to your router and then back in. This may or may not work depending on your configuration and your router. But if you are using the internal IP ... you are much more likely to succeed.
