DTMF and IVR ... Sorry but URGENT

I am using one of the Minute Provider to dial out USA numbers.

Now in one of my process, we need to Dial IVR and the enter DTMF digit and then it connects to the automated IVR.

When I dial out the IVR directly using Xlite and VOIP Mins provider , it works perfectly. but when In try from Dialer, after entering 10 digit customer number, it says TRANSFERRING, THERE IS NOONE IN THE SESSION. .!!!

How to solve it ?

I referred to one of the posting by brainwhistler and I See that in CLI, it execute agi-dtmf.agi when DTMF numbers are passed but in mine case, ts not that. When I enter any keys from xlite , CLI doesnt show any response.

I'm not sure I understand the question. What IVR is it that you are dialing? Ordinarily you would dial a customer's phone number to get a customer ... you are passing through an IVR before dialing the customer?

Its like...

1) We call up our Customer
2) We convince the customer to buy something
3) Customer Agrees.
4) For security reason, we need to record everything on 3rd party server
5) We keep the customer on hold
6) We dial a 727 series number
7) We enter the Access Code and Room Number
8) Then we enter the Customer Phone Number
9) Then IVR start with automated script.
10) Completes the Verification through
11) Generates the Unique code
12) Call Ends.


We cant REACH 9th step.

NOTE: If you want to do DTMF passthru with app_conference bee sure to add the
"i" and "t" flags to the 8600XX lines: Conference(8600051|it)

Am I missing above one ?

What is DTMF passthru ?

Or can it be due to Codec ? I have G729 enabled along with other as I can see in Show Codec

Progress. How do you put the customer "on hold"?

While in a call with a prospect, there's a method to park the call and/or conference in another call. Read the Agent's Manual on how to park/transfer/conference.

DTMF passthrough is also in there.

Is this the mistake I am doing :

My xlite is configured with cc101 and I am trying manual call from xlite , calling up the customer , clicking on line 2 , dialing the remote third party IVR and entering all access codes and room id , bringing the customer in conference ?

Instead of doing above , I need to ONLY and ONLY use the agent interface to make conference and then only it will work ?

linux does not deal in absolutes. or in "one way only" to do something. as such, i will not say "only".

you are asking people on the Vicidial forum to explain why X-Lite cannot conference a new call into a call you already have running on X-Lite. (thus creating a conference via x-lite).

the Agent manual describes ONE way to conference a call or join another call to the existing one from within vicidial. if you use this method, we can help you if you have problems. if you use another method ... you have to deal with the people who built THAT system.

When we dial manually using agent interface , we DON'T hear any RINGING sound.. Its purely blank and on connect we directly hear customer voice ... Is that normal and by default ?

G729 support

I do not think that G729 supports DTMF. I am havinga similar issue.
