Fatal error while loading ztdummy and zaptel

Postby prabhakar_asterisk » Wed Apr 15, 2009 11:48 am

Hi Everyone,

I have a hosted vicidialnow by working great but all of sudden phones didn't ring while logging in agents page.

When I went and checked I had following errors:

# modprobe zaptel
FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.18-92.1.18.el5.028stab060.2PAE/modules.dep: No such file or directory

# modprobe ztdummy
FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.18-92.1.18.el5.028stab060.2PAE/modules.dep: No such file or directory

Has anyone faced this issue. I am eagerly awaiting your reply.

Thanks,
Prabhakar

Is this error still there after a reboot? Have you checked /lib/modules/ to see if the folder is somehow misspelled?

Did you upgrade your system? Like run "yum update"?

looks like your kernel has been upgraded, if I remember correctly the default vicidialnow kernel usually have a .vnow appended to the name so the path would be like:
/lib/modules/2.6.18-92.1.18.el5.vnow/

Try to boot using the old kernel that comes with vicidialnow.
