I am pleased to announce that we have finished integration and testing with the Sangoma CPA(Call Progress Analyzer) allowing VICIDIAL users to benefit from extremely fast and accurate Answering Machine and Fax detection.

Hi:
I was wondering if you already have the manual, setup guide or tutorial for integration between Vicidial and Sangoma CPA?
It will be really appreciated.
Thanks

Here is a link to a new version of the CPD patch:
http://download.vicidial.com/asterisk-p ... -1.4.patch
It fixes an issue that could cause a crash is some rare cases. Apparently a sip dialog can exist without having a call associated with it. When this happens we ignore the dialog rather than crashing the system. Unfortunately we only have a version that works with 1.4 asterisk.

Hi matt, what version of sangoma do suggest? I have tried the latest version on a windows 32 bit server and it is not accurate, sangoma says we need to lower the timers on vicidial for the call to be analyzed, where can we find that setting?

We use the latest version on windows and it works great, you just have to configure it correctly. You should use the dial timeout on CPD to set your true dial timeout and the dial timeout in vicdial should be set to 99 seconds.

You mean campaign dial timeout right? or the timeout on the dialplan under the carriers

I guess it just needs rebooting after it being installed, its now working fine with default settings, but I adjusted the preconnect and the postconnect timeouts just to make sure

Here is an update on the status of Lyra AMD for Asterisk(CPD/CPA). Sangoma recently announced end-of-life for the product June 30, 2017. This will be the last opportunity to purchase Lyra licenses for future requirements. Support will continue to June 30, 2018.

Could you recommend any other solution for call process analysis?

Not at the current time. The are a couple of possibilities, but they both require some significant code changes to integrate with, since neither of them operate in the same way that Sangoma CPD worked. We have been working on one of these options for the last few months, and if we can get it to work, we will announce it's availability.
