Configurationscripts in ADMIN

I am learning the configuaration setting in the admin section. In the mean time, I am moving my file settings over in config files.

I noticed that my files which are moved over to the updated server - from config to config - do not show up in the admin config section.

Am I correct?

Correct, the admin configs for phones, carriers and servers are generated purely from the database entries and are put into the
*-vicidial.conf files. There is no transfer of entries going the other way.

all files that are config through admin - have that notice on top of them - correct?

Yes, they should all have the notice at the top of them.
