I am just confirming that in sip.conf I am gonna start registering my sip account with my sip provider and iax provider (planing to have both in the system for testing)
I will have to do this (suppose I have 40 lines /VOIP accnt) 40 times
then I will go and define Sip clients that connects to Asterisk. For my centre (20 seats) I will have 20 definition.
Am I goining the right direction?

you must use sip trunk in order to have 1 account that can do multiple simultaneous calls.
as iax, it is trunk so you can define only 1 account.. it depends on the provider you need to request them how many lines you needed..

I donot agree to gerski's statement.
Both sip and iax are capable to handle multiple simultaneous calls.
It only depends on the number of channels allocated to you on that trunk by the minutes provider
