I recently set up a local campaign that places calls via an IAX Carrier Entry to our TrixBox server using 9+ dialing to reach our local PRI.
I am running 9 National campaigns with 69 lines on 3 LD PRIs connected to the Dialer Servers using 1NXXNXXXXXX.
The 10th (local) campaign is set to use 10 lines via the IAX to the local box using 91NXXNXXXXXX dialing.
I did not increase the total number of trunks on the dialer server to 79 because I don't want the other campaigns to dial lines that aren't available to them ( which would quickly blow through all our leads ), however when the local campaign is using the 10 lines, it makes 10 of the LD lines seem to be unavailable.
My ideal solution would be to have an option the reserve 10 of the 79 total lines for the local campaign so that the other campaigns don't try to dial more than what's really available to them but I can't seem to fisure out how.
Any suggestions?
v2.0.5
asterisk v1.2

I understand the gist of that post and have already set up the campaigns as described in it with 9+ dialing as detailed in my original post. ( that part was a no brainer =)
My question involves VDAD Trunk allocation and Server trunk settings.
I know that there is a setting for maximum trunks per campaign as well.
What I'm looking for is more of a way to create the equivalent of a minimum trunk setting that would ( in essence ) reserve trunks for a specific campaign, so that a campaign that does not have access to the lines within the other dial plan entry, won't try to dial more lines than those available within it's own plan entry which would result in attempts to dial over busy lines, burning through leads as it goes ( talk about a run on sentence =).
I understand that If i had only 2 campaigns I could set the max trunk on the opposite camp to limit it, however with several campaigns using the sum of the remaining lines, the max trunk setting would not work unless multiple camps could be set in a single max trunk entry to limit the total lines of all remaining camps to the 69 trunks they have available to them.

Yes... with the following
1 asterisk server
1 database server
1 www server
the iax carrier entry that is reached with the 9+ dialing goes to a TrixBox that is separate from the dialer

Have you read the Manager Manual?
Server trunk reservations will do what I think you are wanting to do.

Yes, i saw that in the help and manager's manual but when I use the setting your are speaking of the campaign stops dialing all together and shows a
trunk shortage equivalent to the number of trunks it should be dialing.
Even though it said in the manual that it should reserve the lines, it seems to put a max limit of 0 trunks since it's not dialing with that setting

Ok, now I see that unless I change the setting to OVERFLOW_ALLOWED it will not dial any lines. So I allowed overflow and will just need to make sure that it does not try to dial more than the 10 lines it has using a combination of other settings ( jerry rig it so-to-speak )
Thanks for the help
