/usr/sbin/asterisk not installed - using ISO of vicidial ser

Fresh Install of ViciDial Server..
UPon Boot, I see these errors

* Starting web server apache2
/usr/sbin/asterisk not installed

upon loggin in and typing

root@voipcall:/var/log/installer# asterisk
The program 'asterisk' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
apt-get install asterisk
-bash: asterisk: command not found

Upon checking the log files in /var/log/astguiclient/ubuntu-vici-install.log|

I see this

Decompressing source code
tar: /usr/src/tars/asterisk-1.2.30.4.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory

I don't know what I'm looking for... What am I looking for to verify asterisk is installed?

Did you have internet and a valid DNS server when you installed ViciBox?
