fresh install of vicidial now - can i run yum update?

can i run yum update on fresh install of vicidial now and have it not break an ything? just wanted to update the packages.

I'm interested as well to make an update. It looks it is possible through SVN but I doen't know if the procedure is 100% safe for the server.

yes you can yum update to update the centos base. But be wary as the kernel was modified to make vicidial stable on centos.

You can upgrade vicidial by reading the UPGRADE document.
