Operator intercept detected

Can somebody please let me know if Vicidial detects Operator intercept and what is the status for this disposition?

do you mean Answering Machine???

because if you say operator intercept means that somebody answer the call!!

My experience with operator intercepts is that an operator intercept itself isn't detected. the code reply for "answered" is never received, so the system ignores sound.

eventually the code for hang up and/or cancel is received and "cancel" is then caught by the system.

as far as Vicidial/Asterisk is concerned it was just a funny sounding ring tone (since it was never answered).

easily tested of course, by calling some numbers that are intercepted.
