voice delay when use vicidail predictive dialer

Hello..forum members,

I Use vicidial PD in my call center i am getting voice delay problem at least of 5-6 secs voice delay

let me explain voice delay i am facing : once i said "good morning" to customer he will hear after 5-6 secs or more time so for dialing we have to use trick everytime when talk with customer if we use eyebeam or exlite and do manually call we do not face this problem but when we use PD we face voice delay problem

please give me suggestion for this

what may be the reason for this ??? what would be the solution

We're all ready to help, but we have no idea what you have installed or what your problem could be unless someone just happens to have had the exact problem you have.

So: please post your complete setup (hardware, software with versions including vicidial version, other software installed in the box) and please put this into your signature for future use so you don't have to repeat yourself later.

Then read the stickies (required) and the manager's manual (also required) to see if there is any help in there for you.

just a thought, i always have delay in my system even on plain asterisk or even trixbox for that matter for at most 3-4 seconds. this is because of the time it takes for the SIP message to get through my network(i have a very complicated network setup.).

now since, vici utilizes conferences to be able to connect the agent and the user, the system uses different SIP messages rather than the one ur softphones does for p2p. since the server then acts as a B2BUA(back 2 back user agent). you may want to assess your network for this issue.

firewalls, vlans, QOS and stuff like that.

dont know if im correct but maybe it is. it worth a look into anyways.

all of which can stem from hardware/software/extra software/versions ... so starting with the basics can often save a huge amount of headache.
