Who want to work in a report suite for vicidial?

Vicidial is a great tool, i am working in call center since 1999 and i have seen some dialer, and i am sure that vicidial in a short time will be install in a big number of call center around the world.

I have my own company www.aiatek.com.do in dominican republic, we have install asterisk in about 20 little call centers (6-20 agents), we started just testing and now we have a little company.

Well the point is that in my opinion something that Vicidial needs to improve is the report, and it is something that we can do, it is not so hard like coding functions but can sent vicidial to a next level.

I would like to read your opinion.

yep,

almost all of us here created some advanced reports.

all you needed actually was to look at the mysql database.

If you have some reports that want to contribute here that will be perfect.


Also to give you a lot of ideas on how to create reports on vicididial take a look at the report link on the vicidial web admin.


Lastly the Manager's manual is a great help in understanding how it is on VICIDIAL. you can get it from here www.eflo.net/store.php

There are a lot of companies out there that have created additional reports for ViciDial. Unfortunately very few of those companies have donated those reports to the project.

Well this is my idea, i am the it manager of a call center beside of my own company.

In the call center where i work we have touchstar (touchstar is a dialer) and i will get the document of a tool that they call tsreport, where is a complete description of the suit of reports that they have.

Then we could start to work from that point, we could define a design (font,color,object,etc), make a repository and all that.

What do you think?

We do not go out purposely replicating proprietary company's reports. This opens the project up for IP litigation.

Instead, we try to provide users what they need in a more unique way using reports that are not just clones of some other piece of software.

I do not try that we copy reports of another software, but we see a listing of the reports of the industry and see if it is possible to develop them for vicidial.

Agent Call Detail Lists each call individual agents took during the course of the specified date range.
Agent Goals History Gives a list of the Campaign Goals and the agent specific goals for each agent.
Agent Goals Report Per Campaign Shows the Campaign specific goals along with the agent specific goals for each agent.
Agent List Lists all of the agents on the system.
Agent Performance Summary Summary of the Agents call statistics.
Agent Session Detail A detail report of the calls each agent had.

quite a few of these are missing descriptions.

A few of these exist either as current reports or as portions of current reports.

This are quite easy to generate (if I know php which of course I dont)

But yes as matt said some of this reports are already built in.

Hey matt why dont we just make the report page as a module not the part of the campaign web admin?

Its ok to put more work on this.

As per experience, the only difference now between vicidial and the closed sourced dialer now is the reports.

In terms of stability, I will still go with vicidial. Pricing? vicidial wins. Higher fetch time? vicidial. AMD detection and tone detection? couple it with sangoma CPA you can compare it now with some pricy dialers out there.

We just need reports.

Yes it is what i say, then why not work on this and reports is the easier part of programing.

Other thing is the recording lookup, i create this little program

Yes we could certainly separate the reports links page from admin.php, it doesn't have to be in there.

I think we do need more reports, but we have to have descriptions of the available reports before we build them so people will know what they are looking at.

As for the recording lookup report, that looks nice, are you considering donating it to the project?

You can go to www.aiatek.com.do/reports.rar

Download the file
uncompressed into /var/www/html/
then goto http://your_vicidial_ip/reports/recordinglookup.php

your mysql password must be vicidialnow or you can go into the recordinglookup.php file and change it.

how can i change url for my recording
here i use /RECORDING/MP3/
also a strange thing i have connect good to my database "asterisk" and to all this table "vicidial_users","vicidial_statuses","vicidial_campaigns","vicidial_campaign_statuses".
also i have change the default password "vicidialnow" to the"mynewpassword".
but i see no seach when i clik submit after choose my compaig and date and dispostion etc..
do you have a idea

same thing whe in choose all my option as "User:" and "From: to:" and "Campaigns: and "phone:" and "Disposition:" and finaly i clik in submit i see "Total Records:0" also if i have any error in my database "asterisk" i will see a error message from mysql_query or mysql_connect but with mt situation i see no error juste i see "Total Records:0" .
now i will explain more your source "for exemple i don't need i think to replace "str_replace($row2['location'],...." because "filname and location " i located in asterisk.recording_log table .
with this exemple in your source:

i think maybe the difference is with your language choose ,here in your source i see some esponal variable and my asterisk datebase is filled with english language.
