Hello guys,
What difference does it make when enabling the FTP recording since the asterisk still recording it /var/spool/asterisk ?

Yes, I have 2 server
server one is asterisk / vicidial only
server two mysql / apache / ftp
server one is asterisk / vicidial only

FTP recording transfer just allows the calls to be moved off of your ViciDial server. If you are recording all calls this is usually a requirement if you want to keep those recordings.
