I just installed vicidialbox its installed successfully but when type my 192.168..1.1/ in browser it doesnt show me the panel Ive to append /vicidial then it goes to admin panel but what is the default user name and password ive tried admin:vicidialnow didnt work then I tried 6666:1234 it works but when in some part im getting error mesg

" You do not have permission to view this page "

Any idea , Looking forward for your kind response.

have you read the manual for installation?

you should be going to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/vicidial/welcome.php to log in initially.

Thanks for your kind response.caould you please provide me the manual for configuration i mean agent manual and managing of vidial . It is an opensource materials so they should be available for free . I dont have any $$ to pay for that .

the manual for both agents and managers is available on EFLO.net.

the manuals are free, but there is a more in-depth version available for managers that covers a lot more material. very much worth the investment.

I agree but have you checked out the agent manual the screen shots are very bad I mean image file is corrupted ive downloaded it twice in both time I got same garbage screen shots in agent maunal please fix this or provide a link with fixed screen shots of agents manual .

hi-res screen shots are not part of free manual. you have installed the software for free, the operating system was free, the manual was free, the screen is available on your SCREEN for free (after all, you DID download the software, so it's on your server).

if you want hi-res shots in your manual in pdf, pay for the hi-res version. or i suppose you could get an avaya or dialogic based system. they come with free manuals from what i recall.

ps: open source means that the source code is available. it does not mean "free" and even if the software and support are free, that in no way means that anyone is required to GIVE you a hi-res manual and a backrub. be careful what you demand. mr. florell and his company have been UNFREAKINBELIEVABLY generous with this software development, and I, for one, would never conceive "demanding" a hi-res version of the manual be uploaded.
