From the top of PHASE 2 in the SCRATCH_INSTALL doc:
To connect remotely through SSH on linux type "slogin serveripaddress" or to use Windows to connect you can use a piece of free software called putty available here:
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgta ... nload.html
Also, for windows you can use SSH file transferring(SFTP) with a program called filezilla:
http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/
Are you sure you've read the SCRATCH_INSTALL doc? You keep posting questions that are answered directly in it.

Hello, I use filezilla and copy all of my .conf files to a local folder on my windows desktop. When I prepare a new production server I edit the file with editplus and place the edited file from my desktop to the appropriate directory on the new machine. It is alot quicker than building it from scratch and it works all you need is one set of prepared files.
