All installation and configuration problems and questions

Hello,
When I am trying to install cpan I am getting following output at end.
If this any error ?
Recursive dependency detected:

=> S/SM/SMUELLER/PathTools-3.30.tar.gz

=> Test::Harness.
Cannot continue.
Any suggesions ?

Which OS? Is it "up to date"?
If CPAN won't install, that's obviously NOT a Vicidial "fault" ... you may need to downgrade your OS or your CPAN a bit to get it to install.
Try contacting CPAN's project or switching to another OS or just installing Vicibox (of course).

Yes I know that this is not a viciproble.
But to have vicidial intstall what the suggesion ?
I have tried with different versions of centos..
4.6
5.0
5.2
5.3
should I yum update first ?

try by using the mysql-devel package
i solved by using that way
and yum -y install *lib

the consernient to the mysql version
and if you wanna u can install it from source and install without make test
