vicidial GUI config

hello,

I'am new in vicidial, i just came setting it up (with scrach install tutorial) on a debian distribution, everything seems ok but i can't add new carriers for my sip trunk. i checked the sip-vicidial.conf file and vicidial do not write the configs in it as it is supposed to. so my question is how can i fix this once for all. thank you in advance.

In 2.0.5, if u used default config files then conferences, phones, users are all set to ip address 10.0.0.15 . You need to change this to your database using sql/phpmyadmin or manually. Also make sure cron settings are proper .

I've changed the default IP: with the update-server_ip.pl script and i put the correct address. But just in case, how can i check it?????

I found out the changes i make only take effect when i restart vicidial server. It don't seems practical in produsction so what i would like to do is to make realtime changes.
