Hi
If I want to disconnect calls after 4-5 rings what shall i put there. Or one ring means how many seconds

Try put this string in extensions.conf
${TRUNK}/${EXTEN}|20|tTo
|
|_________ 20 sec ... after a call hangup....
20 sec. = 4 rings

For VICIDIAL this is definable per campaign in the campaign detail screen "dial timeout".

yes i got that but what values should i put for 4 rings. What is the value for 1 ring. I have put 21-26 but have no idea how many rings it have after it timeouts

just depend on the seconds rather than per rings...

number of rings can be different depending on your telco and what country you are in. Seconds is the only good way of doing a timeout. You will just need to count how many seconds is 4 rings whereever you are calling and enter that in.
