I have VICIDIAL NOW deployed on a 2950 Dell Power Edge server (Intel). The box has been upgraded to VICIDIAL 1.4.26.2 in order to facilitate the use of the AJAM http service.
I currently have over 30 agents dialing using Noojee click, which equates to over 30 agents dialing manually using sip soft phones. Therefore I am unable to use 0 and session ID for monitoring. I am currently using Chanspy, which is working fine. I have not had any hang ups on the box as yet. I have the leisure of cycling through calls using *.
I got the idea to use Chanspy from my PBX asterisk box, FreePBX, which I hear is a TRIBOX. It is also VICIDIAL version 1.4 and has a Chanspy configuration in the extensions-custom.conf equiped with macros and the works. I would like a feature that the TRIBOX Chanspy offers, which is to hear the extension I am monitoring when I initiate a channel spy/monitoring session.
My current Chanspy line in extensions.conf is :
exten => 1234,1,Chanspy(SIP,q)
-which does not give any audio when switching from extension to extension using *
exten => 555,1,Chanspy(SIP/) - also works and states SIP before each monitoring session.
What do I input for the Chanspy feature to state "SIP, Extension 113"?
