httpd: bad user name apache

hi
i am using slackware 10.2. i have installed httpd-2.0.59 and php-4.4.4.
after it apache is not running.in the command of apache start , i got following error

root@local:~# /usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl start
[Wed Oct 11 11:32:17 2006] [warn] module php4_module is already loaded, skipping
httpd: bad user name apache


so please tell me where is mistack , and also where i set user name.

Did you follow the SCRATCH_INSTALL exactly?
