how to update from 1.2 to 1.3 ?

vicidialnow and the the OS ( i know yum update will update teh OS but i don't know if i can do it without killing anyting )

as i know in centos when you update the os you will loose the use of vicidial because you will update the kernel so here you will have two solution if you know how setup your kernel in the new os centos with cpan too so do it if no so just update your vicidial but as i know the two version use the same vicidial 2.0.5 just the other have been made the new interface agent just this !

1.3 this is not the version of os or vicidial !
this is same thing named from the creator of the cd vicidialnow just this
and why you update it ?
the difference between them that the last version support 64 bit and more ram and with new kernel also they have add the new inerface agent in it ,if you want it it found also in svn agc_2.0.5 too and they have add webmin .
just this all them you can do it with your self if you want

well i want to update because interface is better on end user perspective.

it give a professional look for say in some way.

do do it he is very easy just download the last version 2.0.5 from svn then past all folder agc in var/www edit the file dbconnect.php if you have change the password cron or if you use a multiserver then opps connect to http://<yourip>/agc/vicidial.php

that sounds easy but there is ust a problem i'm not a user of svn, i get use to yum so i will have to check ow to download the 2.0.5,

unafortunally this like when i try to do the svn checkout it tells me connection refused.

so i can't use the rest of the commands

Try copying "/var/www/html/agc2" from your 1.3 installation to your "/var/www/html/" 1.2 install. Let me know if it works.

VicidialNOW 1.3 uses Astguiclient/Vici 2.0.5.1rc1. While the 1.2 version uses 2.0.5. Both version uses the same database structure so no changes to the Mysql tables are necessary when upgrading to 2.0.5.X from 2.0.5.
