Why some extensions don't work?

Postby UltimateCollector » Fri Jan 22, 2010 7:13 pm

I am running Vicidial (2.0.4-146) and a Trixbox (2.6.2). I have a handful of extensions. The VD server basically does the call control while placing the calls through the TB. In terms of setup, both systems must contain the extension you want the operator to use.

I recently created a new extension (1017); For some reason, it does not work! My extension (3001) continues to work fine

The CLI output for a normal, working setup is as follows:

=========================================================================

For the nonworking extension (1017) it looks different:

Anybody have any ideas what I'm missing?

Did you reload asterisk after adding extentions?

I've been using the new extensions for some time now. I also tried rebooting both servers.

I am open to suggestions.

Found the problem

There was a problem in the dialplan where the extensions from the Trixbox were not defined in the Vicidial server. We changed it to include all possible extensions 1001 - 9999.
