VICIDIAL ON WINDOWS WITH MAGIC JACK?

Hello everyone I am new to this and I apologize for my ignorance. Is Vicidial only for the linux platform or can you also use the program on Windows as well? If you can install it on Windows does anyone know if you can use Vicidial with a MagicJack combination?

You just get some headsets for your agents and install softphones on agentscomputers.

You will need a voip service to be able to use vicidial.

No vicidial does not provide voip-service, unless you use their hostingservie.

Get 16 MagicJacks, 16 ThinClients and BAM!!....You just created your own 16 Analog telco trunks.

Now get a couple of 8 port FXO gateway units (Adiocosed, grandstream, etc) and plug those in to the magicjacks.

Now just configure Vicidial carries to your FXO gateways and your "In like Flynn".

The best part is that the phone service will only cost you $640/year.

NOTE: Many people say that MagicJack will cut your service...BUT HERES A LITTLE INSIGHT......We've been there and done that, and all I have to say is that out of 16 lines, MAYBE 3-4 will get cut off. So just go buy 3-4 more. Most of you spend $40/month for each line anyways...SO DO THE MATH!!!!!!!

ALSO....if you use MagicJack or any other ANALOG provider you can now use a Grandstream FXO Gateway with the NEW answer supervision feature on the firnware. It works great and it's cheap.

It's now easier than ever to use ANALOG lines just like a PRI/T1 and finally have new built-in CALL PROGRESS detection with the Grandstream FXO unit.

it's a USB card with soft phone that uses broadband internet for $20/year phone service. crappy quality sometimes, and they've been down a couple times, but for the price ...

For the agent's phones, there are many different options:
VOIP
Magick Jack
or even setting up desk/home phones for vici to dial out to (keep in mind that this can count as two calls at once if you set it up from the admin-phones section). This is the method we use for inclement weather and at manager's stations for call spikes, and so far it work's very well.
