VICIDIAL INSTALLTION ** NEED HELP **

Hi,

Following is my current environment.

TWO ASTERISK SERVERS IN TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS.
OS: CENTOS
ASTERISK: FREEPBX/AMP
ASTERISK SERVER 1 VERSION: 1.2
ASTERISK SERVER 2 VERSION: 1.1

BOTH ARE RUNNING MYSQL required to run CDR function etc.. for Asterisk.

I have lots of technology experience but I am new to Asterisk. I want to install VICIDIAL to accomplish the following:

1. Extensions/Users of Either Asterisk Server be able to use VICIDIAL functionality

2. Remote/Home Based Employees be able to utilize VICIDIAL functionality.


INSTALLATION QUESITONS:

1. Is there any documentation that provides installation steps.
2. Can you install VICIDIAL on a entirely SEPERATE BOX without Asterisk installed on the box? What is recommended?

* Note: you may be better off not using freepbx - just plain asterisk

i second that, using trixbox /a@home is a real headache with vicidial.
