vicidialnow + 2 x Chinaroby X800P 8 port cards

I have a Dell 1900 1 x 1.6 qc, 4 GB

2 PCI cards installed - molex power cables ordered but not fitted yet, these are the cards:

They each have 4 x FXO and 4 x FXS

Cards CD is in the server

Plan to use mostly Analogue handsets and analogue phone lines

I can get by with Linux and I installed Vicidial now but I think my cards require a zaptel build from source? I tried to install Vicibox first but it didn't seem to install Asterisk.

I could download Asterisk source and compile but I assume this would break Vicidial - there's probably more to it than that

I know Centos much better than Ubuntu but I'd be happy to install a different os if you prefer

I'd like to hire someone to sort all this out for me remotely over ssh - please PM me with timescale and costs

I'm a complete Vicidial newbie so I'll need help with all the basic setup and support to get us going

Approx 12 Phones, 8 for Agents Calling - probably 90% outbound calls

There will only be a slow ADSL connection so we can only have a couple of SIP or IAX trunks

Vicibox sometimes fails if it loses contact with the servers during installation.

try again, or try vicibox redux (also on the vicibox site) or vicidialNOW.
