Help loading leads in VicidialNow

Postby msquires » Thu Apr 15, 2010 11:29 am

New to Predictive Dials and new to Vicidial.
I have been working with it to TWO Days.
Need lots of HELP.

I created a .CSV file and formatted it using the with fields
"Area_Code","Phone_Number","First_Name","Last_Name","Address","City","State","Zip","E-Mail"

When I upload it under LIST / LOAD NEW LEADS is kicks a DUP error in the Standard Format, and when I use the Custom Layout it reports GOOD but the leads never actually load.

Please Help.

Also is there is free step-by-stem manual for designing implementation of Vicidial & VTiger?

the best solution is creating a file with your data using excel :
exemple -->
open a new excel file the create your data name phone etc.. and fill it with your data nad finally save as it as txt you will find it in the excel .
and it's ok then upload this txt file from vicidial admin
it's done

Do not use standard, or make sure the file you upload is following the specs for a standard file.

Did you check if the leads are in the corresponding list?

Also make sure there are no special characters such as & % () etc. in your CSV file.

I've uploaded so far perhaps over 10 million leads in comma delimited files, never had a single issue.
Still quite curious what's the reason behind those failures when reading number of similar topics...
