Inbound/Closer Report - Agent Stats lasting 1 hour

Postby ronator » Sat Apr 24, 2010 4:23 am

Hi there,

I`m using vici-now 1.3 from iso. I "manually" upgraded from 1.1 (just inserted mysql-dumps of a vici-now-1.1-system, adjusted the new confs and new web-files) and at least it works fine!

My Problem is the Inbound/Closer Report in the agent stats section. It always shows the taken calls one hour in the past. Of course, I setted up server time (and all the phone-clients) to my timezone in Berlin, Germany, GMT+1.

The system hast the right time (also in console), when I request a Report Site, I can see at the very top of it my corrext time, which is while writing this:
VICIDIAL: Auto-dial Closer Stats: || 2010-04-24 11:00:46

But down there, at Agent Stats, it shows this:
|+0900+|****[some more asterisks]****X| 0 | 19 |
But the day started off at 10.00 !!!

So, actually, the system time IS correct and ntp-client running, but reports starts off one hour too early. I tried to check some tables, to see where it comes from, but I found no hint. Seems it gets GMT 0 from anywhere, but I cannot configure this in the web interface. I searched for some related topics here, and the only thing I figured out is, that my inbound-list shows in the "TIME ZONES WITHIN THIS LIST"-section
GMT OFFSET NOW (local time) :
+0.00 (Sat Apr 2010 09:14) 67 5
+2.00 (Sat Apr 2010 11:14) 1375 9
This is kinda confusing me. You, too ?

This this machine is right now kinda half-productive system, so I'd like to prevent to play around with tz-files and symbolic links. Since the linux-system-time is correct
($hwclock -s = Sa 24 Apr 2010 11:06:35 CEST -0.000655 Sekunden) I wonder which table or else I have to play with, to get that corrected.

----------------------
ViciDialNow-1.3.iso
VERSION: 2.0.5-174
BUILD: 90522-0506
Asterisk:1.2.30.2
----------------------

If anyone can help me out with a solution (or needs more info about my setup to do so), please let me know. It would save me a lot of frustrating search and misleading assumptions !!! Please, gimme a hint, where to look for ... what about mysql-table vicidial-list(s) ?!?!

Best Wishes,
Ron Salvatore

good news - correct me if I'm wrong

Postby ronator » Sat Apr 24, 2010 4:34 am

Hi again, I was quite fast.

I found that in my vicidial_list-table the last calls get set to gmt_offset_now "0". So is it correct that I have to check /usr/share/astguiclient/ADMIN_adjust_GMTnow_on_leads.pl ?

What do I have to do ? It's run by cron every minutes (i think) ...

Maybe could someone help me out, before I step into the dark ...

Best Wishes,
Ron Salvatore

Ok, found a hint. gonna try it. I can't remember, how to define a local offset in loading new leads; the country code should do it, but I am not certain, how you define that: phone code in Germany should be 49 but I don't know what's this country code.

But I'm on the right way ...

This one was also as interesting as confusing :

Since there is no howto to "ADMIN_adjust_GMTnow_on_leads.pl", I hope my perl-experience is enough to understand the way it works and possible command line options ... oh, indeed --help is nice, but i still have problems i cannot figure, and I tried to get the solution in "reverse engineering" the ADJUST-script. But this mistake (wether it was my fault or not) seems more general and I can't find a clean solution ...

see my new thread please : "ADMIN_adjust_GMTnow_on_leads.pl"-script reports wrong local_gmt ...

thx 4 reading

the phone_code field is where you put the country code when you load leads. ViciDial should take care of the time coding(including accounting for Daylight Savings Time)

yes, thank you very much. Was a bit irritating seeing GMT+2 ... but with DST it makes sense, at least.
