Well, installed Vicibox and got it working on both nics with pretty much no trouble (when I worked out g729 wasn't preinstalled).
Not quite as pretty as vicidialnow but we can do something with that
In case it is of any use to anyone I have set the /etc/network/interfaces to:
# This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).
# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
# The primary network interface
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.2
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.1.0
broadcast 192.168.1.255
gateway 192.168.11.1
# dns-* options are implemented by the resolvconf package, if installed
dns-nameservers 192.168.1.1
dns-search workgroup
# The secondary network interface
auto eth1
iface eth1 inet static
address 192.168.11.2
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.11.0
broadcast 192.168.11.255
gateway 192.168.11.1
# dns-* options are implemented by the resolvconf package, if installed
dns-nameservers 192.168.11.1
dns-search workgroup
Now I just have to hope I don't have another "Hey guys... look at this......" and then fall flat on my face moment when nothing happens again tomorrow
Thanks for all the help and good luck to anyone trying to get vicidialnow working with my rather crude LAN setup.
