Hello Folks,

I would like to know, does vicidialnow supports UK predictive dialing?.

I know it works simply great for USA, however never tried for UK.

I would like to know what changes i need to make in Vicidialnow to dial UK

yes you just call a uk phonenumber instead

You certainly will have to study the UK telemarketing laws very carefully because they do also have very strict rules in place. Then just check each of those rules back to ViciDial's capabilities and if you are not sure simply ask again regarding the specifics. I am pretty sure that ViciDial will be perfect though.

Anyone here wants to give more information about UK telemarketing laws/rules?

You just need to create a UK phone number based dialplan on the Carriers section of Vicidial. This way when you load UK leads, it knows how to dial those numbers.


Here's the default dialplan for US:

exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial(${TRUNKX}/${EXTEN:1},55,To)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,3,Hangup


Here's an example dialplan for UK (depending on carrier):

exten => _944XXXXXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _944XXXXXXXXXX,2,Dial(${TRUNKX}/${EXTEN:1},55,To)
exten => _944XXXXXXXXXX,3,Hangup


You might need to ask your carrier on the exact dialplan to call UK numbers.
