I just wanted to say, wow, fantastic job on this new release. Not only are the new features great, but there seems to have been some sort of efficiency increase as well.
My dialing is about 35% slower than it was on 2.0.5 with the same contact rate and talk/wait times (this is a really, really good thing). Just fantastic.
On that note, for custom built code, is it proper to just submit diff files/packages/whatever to the issue tracker? I'd like to start giving back to the community, and I figure now is just as good a time as any.

Thank you very much for the compliments
Yes we have changed quite a bit of stuff on the backend as well as the user interfaces in 2.2.0.
As for submitting new features, you just need to work from SVN trunk and submit diff file patches with an explanation of the feature to the issue tracker, and it often helps to add a description and link to the issue tracker ticket to the Development forum here.

Sounds good. Once I finish porting some of my changes to 2.2.0, I'll post some diff files.
Again, fantastic release.

indeed nice work, it is much lesser to do in cli because all the edits are on gui.
If its not too much to ask, where can we see the changes on the backend? like the database tables changes from previous version?

That's right in the release, just look in the extras/upgrade_2.2.0.sql
