Is the iso 1.3 working?

Im Michael from New Zealand.

is it possible vicidialnow in a virtual machine(vmplayer) on an external disc to keep running?

Is this iso 1.3 the latest stable version?
on my installation from the iso file only linux without vicidialnow is running. I cannot login as root/vicidianow as su -

Yes it's possible to install VicidialNOW on a virtual machine. It's been tested on VirtualBox and VMWare. Which one are you using?

Hi,

i used Virtual Box , but its not working, i get always and interrupt error and VB crashes.

Now I use VMplayer, just installed today.

We have a asterisk 1.6 server running with Trixibox, works fine.

Now i would vicidialnow run on a second server, is it possible to import or connect to asterisk 1.6 and connect to all the dialplans, trunks...to vicidialnow or have I do a new configuration?

I just started to learn all about this...

VicidialNOW installs fine on Virtualbox. Just choose IDE for your harddisk type.

Yes it's possible to connect VicidialNOW to another box running Asterisk 1.6 since VicidialNOW uses Asterisk as it's dialing engine. So the principle is the same in connecting to Asterisk boxes together with one of them being the outgoing or incoming trunk.
